As the church celebrates the season of Advent, this year we are offering all who use the building here at Kelvinbridge a space to pause, to rest, to think, to pray, to take away a blessing.
Each week will have a different focus.
There will be:
*A Space for Peace
*A Space for Memories and Grieving
*A Space for Hope
*A Space for Love
This week we offer
A SPACE FOR PEACE
If we feel pressured and anxious at this time,
let us take time out, lay down our concerns and matters for decision for a few minutes, so we can begin to think more clearly with new energy.
Christmas is a time when we hope for gifts of peace.
Let us reflect on the ways in which we long for peace, and be open to new insights.
If we pray, let us pray for peace in these days,
personal peace, peace for those we love and peace for the world.
Jesus says ‘Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid’. John 14:27
Go in peace,
the peace which passes understanding.
And may the gift of quiet be still within you,
the gift of calm surround your soul
and God walk with you in wisdom and grace.
