Christmas Clothing Appeal

James Stuart the Captain of the first Glasgow Boys' Brigade Company based at Kelvinbridge writes...

As we announced a few weeks ago, the company is running a clothing collection on behalf of the charity Glasgow the Caring City. We are looking for donations of ‘quality clothing’ which the charity will deliver to refugee support centres in Eastern Europe.
The clothes collected should be practical and in good, wearable condition, but other than that, there are no real restrictions. So, YES to clothing, shoes, jackets, socks, hats and gloves; NO to tents, sleeping bags, medicines, cooking utensils, toiletries.
The collection will take place at the church on the evenings of Wed 9 December and Fri 11 December, between 7.30 and 9. I hope you will be able to support the appeal by bringing whatever you can on one of those evenings.
