Some events that might interest you, flagged up by the Presbytery of Glasgow

To mark Holocaust Memorial Day 2016 (27th January)—'Dont Stand by'— Interfaith Scotland is working in partnership with The Glasgow Film Theatre to bring to you a one off screening of 'The Devil came on Horseback' Sun 24th Jan 12:15. 

The film will be followed by a Q&A with Professor Mukesh Kapila CBE. Professor Kapila was head of the UN in Sudan and decided he could no longer stand by and watch what was happening in Darfur. 

Professor Kapila will also be holding a public lecture at Glasgow Caledonian university on the evening of the 25th January.

Lodging House Mission (35 East Campbell Street, G1 5DT) 

The Lodging House Mission’s Homelessness Sunday Service will be held on Sunday 31st January 2016 at 6.30 p.m. in the Church. The Guest Speaker will be the Rev Tom Pollock – Moderator of Glasgow Presbytery. 

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be served after the service when there will be an opportunity for fellowship and discussion of homeless issues and an opportunity to see how we are supporting the Glasgow Winter Night Shelter Project
